Script for the short theatrical film Robbery of the Century (1995, made in 1998). Grossman’ award for the script.
The film won awards at the film festivals in Klagenfurt (Juvenalle 2000) and Krakow, and reached the finals of the student film festival in Tel Aviv.

Scriptwriter (together with Janez Burger) and the main actor of the feature-length film Idle Running (dir. Janez Burger, 1999). Awarded for the best script (2nd Festival of Slovenian Films, Portorož 1999), The Best Actor Award (2nd Festival of Slovenian Films, Portorož 1999), the Yves Montand Award - Best Actor of the festival (MFF Molodist, Kiev 1999), the Best Actor Award (MFF Cottbus 1999), the Best Actor Award (MFF Faces of Love, Moscow 2000). The film receieved a total of 20 domestic and international awards.

Wrote select scripts for the documentary television serial Switch off.

Producer JANEZ BURGER

Born in Kranj, Slovenia, in 1965. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Ljubljana. In 1989 he transferred to FAMU (Film and TV Directing) in Prague, the Czech Republic. He graduated in 1996 and moved back to Ljubljana, Slovenia.

In 1998 he founded Burgerteater independent experimental theatrical studio (he directed two performances, Piki and Roni in1999 and Miss Margaret in 2000). He is also co-founder of the production company Staragara (he produced feature film Gravehopping (directed by Jan Cvitković, 2005). He directed a numerous short films during his studies at Famu, many of them were awarded. The low-budget film Idle Running (V leru; 35 mm, b/w, 90 minutes, 1999) is his feature film debut, internationally premiered in the competition at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in 1999. Film has been shown at most than 50 international film festivals, among others in Montreal, Toronto, Pusan, Thessaloniki, Mar del Plata, Sarajevo, Montpellier, Cottbus, Kiev, Trieste, Moscow, Palm Springs, New York, Minneapollis, Sydney, Jerusalem, Goteborg, Belgrade...

Film also received 20 international awards including Grand Prix Awards for the Best Feature Film at the film festivals in Cottbus (Germany), Alpe Adria Cinema Trieste (Italy), Faces of Love Film Festival in Moscow (Russia) and the Slovene Film Festival in Portorož Different awards for film or actors and special jury mentions at the film festivals in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina), Kiev (Ukraine), Montpellier (France), Brussels (Belgium) and Milan (Italy). His second feature film, Ruins (Ruševine; 35 mm, in colour, 100 minutes, 2004) received different awards at the Slovene Film Festival in Ljubljana, including Vesna for Best Film, Vesna for Director, Audience Award and numerous awards for individual achievements: Vesna for Main Actor (Darko Rundek), Main Actress (Nataša Matjašec), Supporting Actor (Matjaž Tribušon), Supporting Actress (Nataša Burger), Camera (Simon Tanšek), Music (Drago Ivanuša)... Film was internationally premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam in 2005. At film festival in Lecce (2005) Ruins get special jury award Reale Mutua Assicurazioni.

Director of photography SIMON TANŠEK

Born in 1973 in Trbovlje, Slovenia. Completed his studies in 1999 and received a master's degree in film and television camera at the Prague Academy FAMU, The Czech Republic. Expressive photography has always been one of his passions, and he has also exhibited his works. He is a member of the Hrastnik Photo Club.

Film editor MILOŠ KALUSEK

Born in 1968 in Chrudim, The Czech Republic. Studied editing for film and TV at the Prague FAMU, The Czech Republic. Edited a number of short films directed by A. Žumbergar, B. Slama and J. Burger.

Composer ALDO IVANČIĆ

Born in 1959 in Pula. He was member of cult music group Borghesia. In his long career colaborates in production of more than 50 LP's of different authors. He prepared music for numerous theatre and dance performances. At the moment he is very active at the group Bast and percussionist group The Stroj.

He prepred music for feature films Guardian of the Frontier (d. M. Weiss, 2001) and Gravehopping (2005), as also music for TV series New World (dir. M. Weiss, 2003) and numerous documentary films.

Born 1974 in Koper, Slovenia. Graduauted painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, Italy.

Born 1970 in Postojna, Slovenia. She studied Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, Italy. She designs silver jewelry, fashion design, costumes and made visual arts. Worked as costume designer in feature films Idle Running (d. J. Burger, 1999) in Bread and Milk (d. J. Cvitkovič, 2001) and Gravehopping (2005).

Makeup Artist ALENKA NAHTIGAL

Born in 1966 in Ljubljana. In 1965, graduated at the Ljubljana Secondary School of Design and Photography. Since 1987, she has worked as a makeup artist for film and television industry and participated in several international film and theatre co-productions. Since 2003, she has also been a lecturer and mentor at the Ljubljana Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television.

Gregor Baković – Pero

Born 1969 in Ljubljana. He finished his studies at Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and TV (AGRFT) in Ljubljana. He works in the Slovene National Theatre SNG Drama in Ljubljana.

Drago Milinović - Shooki

Born in 1968 in Ljubljana. He is member of Ana Monro Theatre. He appeared in feature films Idle Running (dir. J. Burger, 1999), Last Supper (dir. M. Javšnik, 2001) and Gravehopping (2005) and short films Forward (1999), The Robbery of the Century (1998) in A.M. (1998).

Sonja Savić - Ida

Born 1961 in Čačak (Yugoslavia). One of the most famous Yugoslav film actresses. Played as an amateur actress in secondary school, finished Faculty for Drama Art (FDU) in Belgrade. For her roles she received many domestic and international awards including Golden Arena (Festival of Yugoslav feature films in Pula). For her role of Sonja in Bread and milk (2001), she received Best Suppoting Actress Prize (awarded by the Jury of Stop Magazine) at the 4th Festival of Slovenian Films (Portorož, 2001). She played in more than 20 films.

Mojca Fatur – Renata

Born 1978 in Koper. She graduated acting at Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and TV (AGRFT) in Ljubljana . She is free lance actress. She acts in feature films Idle Running (dir. J. Burger, 1999) and Gravehopping (2005) and short films Lesi returns (2000), Silence before storm (2000), Road (2000) and Heart is a piece of meat (2003).

Nataša Matjašec – Vilma

Born in 1967 in Murska Sobota, Slovenia. Received a master's degree in acting at the Ljubljana Academy for Theatre, Radio, Film and Television. Since 1995 a free lance actress and performer, working with several professional theatres (Slovenian Youth Theatre, Slovenian national theatres SNG Drama in Ljubljana and Maribor), and independent companies (The Atol Project, E.P.I. Centre). Played in several short films and video productions, including Homo Erectus(d. Ema Kugler, 2000) and Phantom (d. Ema Kugler, 2003), co-authored the screenplay for feature film Outsider (d. Andrej Košak, 1996) and directed a fiction-documentary film Tiigra (2001), which she also produced together with Studio Arkadena.
